Do I Need a Website? |
I was recently contacted by a fledgling screenwriter who told me she hadn't even thought of getting her own website until a prospective buyer asked for her website address. Now she's scrambling to get online. Websites are no longer a novelty or a cutting-edge technology. They are a normal part of promotion, marketing, and doing business. Here's why:
Bill Gates said that eventually there will be two kinds of businesses — ones that are online and ones that are out of business. If your business is a corner hot dog stand, you might not need a website. But if you can sell your products via phone call or mail order, or if your business has information that prospective and current customers want to know, then you should seriously consider a website for your business. |
